Growing up, Seán was surrounded by the rich musical heritage of his family. His early years were infused with the melodious sounds of traditional Irish music, and his former teacher, John “Twin” McNamara, emerged as a pivotal influence during his formative years. His trips to The Armagh Pipers Club and William Kennedy Piping Festival sparked off a strong interest in Northern and Scottish piping and traditional music.

The vibrant local music scene on Achill Island also played a crucial role in Lynch’s development as a musician. He found inspiration in the talented artists and musicians who called the island home. The annual gathering of Scoil Acla became a cherished tradition for Lynch, first as an attendee and later as a tutor, further nurturing his love for Irish culture and music. His professional career led him to traverse the globe, allowing him to absorb foreign influences including the United States and Europe.

Tony is a Dublin-based guitarist, and has been involved in music from a young age. Starting out playing in rock bands as a drummer at age 11, Tony began performing around Dublin city centre venues at age 12. Following family holidays in West Kerry, Tony developed an Interest in Irish traditional music and has been involved in the performance, recording and teaching of it since leaving college in 1999.

Past performances include concerts with acts such as Danu, Sharon Shannon, Michael mc Goldrick,Gerry o Connor, David Munnelly Band, Matt Molloy, Paul Brady, Julie Fowlis, Lunasa and many more. Tony has also performed with artists of different genres such as legendary guitarist Tommy Emmanuel.

Joseph McNulty is a native of Co. Mayo and  is a well established musician among traditional Irish music circles.

In his teenage years Joseph competed in various competitions, winning 5 All-Ireland titles & 4 World titles in the 6 years he spent competing.

As a full time musician, he has travelled Europe & America with various well known musicians & groups.

Niall Hughes plays with a variety of bands across the musical spectrum. One of these, Irish/Persian quartet Nava.

Navá is a group of young musicians exploring the relationship between the ancient musical cultures of Ireland and Persia. It is comprised of folk/bluegrass musicians Paddy Kiernan and Niall Hughes, and Iranian born brothers Shahab and Shayan Coohe. Since forming in early 2016 they have performed extensively at home and internationally. Recent accolades include their nomination for Best Folk Group at the 2022 RTÉ Folk Awards.

Alex is a multi-instrumentalist, currently based in Dublin, Ireland. Growing up in New Zealand, he spent his early years studying jazz trombone, receiving multiple awards at national jazz competitions, and performing with New Zealand’s premier big band, the Roger Fox Big Band. After studying at the New Zealand School of Music, Alex discovered Irish traditional music and picked up the banjo.

He has opened for Imelda May and South African legend Hugh Masekela, and shared the stage with musicians such as Lisa Hannigan, Martin Hayes, Villagers and Jape. Alex has toured internationally throughout Europe, Asia, North America, Australia, and New Zealand.
